Dumonde Tech’s Pro X Freehub Oil is specifically designed for freehubs that require lubricating oil. Pawl style freehubs often recommend a oil to stay in the system’s moving parts for lubrication. Even light greases (like Dumonde Tech Pro X Freehub Grease) can be too thick for some models and can stop freehubs from engaging, and standard mineral oils often lack the lubricating properties required to prevent excessive wear.
