Torque Tools

Torque Tools are essential for working on modern bicycles with delicate aluminium and carbon components. Back in the day when everything was made from mild steel you could get away with just wrenching down on every bolt in sight, but unfortunately doing that on a modern carbon fiber frame will result in hundreds of dollars of damage.

Torque Tools function to alert you when a bolt is tightened to a certain value to prevent both under and over tightening. In Australia we use Newton Meters (Nm) as the primary unit of measurement for torque. We stock a wide range of torque tools here at Beaut Bike, with everything from small preset torque drivers designed for quickly safety-checking handlebar bolts, to large adjustable torque wrenches designed for installing bottom brackets and cassettes.
