Park Tool's EP-1 End Cap Crimping Pliers are the world's first pliers purpose-built to easily install cable end crimps onto bicycle brake, shift (derailleur), and dropper post cables.
While your random old pair of pointy-nose pliers probably work fine, if you want to do a professional job, this is 100% the way to go. The short, tapered jaws feature 2 crimping positions so you can easily get a clean crimp even in tight spots - no more need for the wrist flexibility of a gymnast!
The pliers are forged from durable, high quality steel before being machined and coated with vinyl-dipped handles.
