This is best CNC Machined Alloy Bleed Funnel we've come across. What makes it even better is that it's also the cheapest on the market!
The standout feature is the unique "Plug 'N Play" brass valve built into the bottom of the funnel. As you insert the funnel into one of the included brass adapters (listed below) the valve opens - just make sure you thread the adaptor into your lever first 😉. Then, as you lift the funnel off the valve closes, ensuring no fluid is spilt over your lever.
The 5 Plug 'N Play Brass adapters suit a wide variety of bleed ports:
- M4 - SRAM DB8, Trick Stuff, Campagnolo
- M5 - Formula Cura, Tektro, Hayes, Shimano MTB and most Shimano knock-offs
- M6 - Magura
- M6 - Universal
- M7 - Shimano Road - with additional height to clear hoods
The funnel also includes a nicely weighted aluminium base that won't topple over easily - no hollow plastic in sight. The base doubles as a lid and while it has an o-ring, this is simply to provide tension to retain it into the funnel and it unfortunately doesn't seal tight enough to store fluid inside. These funnels were released for EZ-MTB's 10th anniversary in 2023, so they feature a commemorative laser engraved artwork on the base.
