Designed to stop carbon and aluminium components from slipping, Park Tool's Carbon Paste is your best friend when installing seat posts, handlebars and saddles.
The Carbon Paste does this by using small silica particles to create friction between surfaces for additional grip. While this simple method of increasing friction works reliably, the silica particles can easily scratch delicate clear coats or painted finishes. For this reason, we prefer Motorex Carbon Paste, which uses a chemical process to increase friction instead of particles.
Sold in a 113 g Tube. Safe for use with carbon fiber, aluminum, and steel.
