Slickoleum Low Friction Suspension Grease (SRAM Butter)

Slickoleum is a superlative grease that greatly reduces the breakaway friction for reciprocating seals. It is use from the factory in all suspension products manufactured by Rockshox and many other brands.

Thanks to excellent water washout resistance, and the ability to impregnate surface pores, Slickoleum stays where you put it, meaning crucial parts of your suspension will stay lubricated. The proprietary formula is specifically tailored to reduce the static drag and breakaway force in seals and bushings with linear movement. It is safe for use with all seals, elastomers, and O-rings.

Slickoleum's founders setup to develop a product that would reduce static drag and break away friction to improve the performance of motocross suspension forks. The search for a friction reducing solution had begun. Silicon, Teflon and everything imaginable was blended and tested. In 1990, their diligence was rewarded and the magic formula was finally discovered.
