Park Tool's FCT-1 is a versatile tool for easy and damage-free removal of tight suspension fork air and damper caps.
Unfortunately suspension fork caps usually feature very shallow interfaces for hand installation/removal so they won't intrude on the sleek lines of your bicycle. To make things worse, they are almost always manufactured from soft aluminium with delicate anodised coatings.
If no one has opened the caps for a while or they were over tightened, it can become nearly impossible to remove them without damage. That's where Park Tool's FCT-1 comes in. Designed to resemble a dice, the six sides feature 6 unique drives, designed for a snug and secure fit on common fork cap designs. The entire tool is manufactured from a non-marring poly-carbonate so there's no risk of your scratching or denting your caps.
