Description

Version 2.0 features an updated wedge nut that offers a filleted edge for easier insertion into brakes and some refinements to the manufacturing process that removes a small burr.

This sweet little disc brake tool has been making the rounds on Instagram recently and we had quite a few requests to stock some... so we are!

You simply insert the tool into a brake caliper and twist the knob to reset the pistons without the need for any prying! There's a 3 mm hex head in the middle of the handle if you do need extra leverage or access is limited.  2 washers are included which snap into place with magnets if you're using a wider caliper such as SRAM Code or TRP Downhill.

Unlike the SRAM Ultimate Piston Press, our tool is compatible with smaller calipers including Shimano's road calipers.

With certain 4 piston calipers you can use two Presses at once, however not all calipers have enough room for this. Shimano 4 piston trail calipers are tight but work great with a bit of patience. SRAM Codes have just enough room. There isn’t enough room in Magura 4 Pistons, and so far SRAM Mavens are untested - if you purchase a press and have access to a set of Mavens please get in touch!

They pair perfectly with our Caliper Alignment Tool!

Good tool great service

The tool works better than advertised, probably my best online interaction with a supplier too! Couldn’t be happier with the product or the transaction

Thanks for the review mate! I'm glad we were able to get you sorted with a few hard to find tools.

Mini disc brake piston press not mini enough

Have only tried this press on Magura 4 pot brakes and, well, they don’t fit, from the top at least, where you want them to. The diameter of the press is a few mm too big. You can just squeeze the press in from below, but only once you’ve loosened the caliper enough and almost removed it from the mounting. And I bought two of the presses thinking that I’d use one for each pair of pistons. But 2 presses don’t fit side by side so I used it on one pair of pistons then installed a brake block in order to do the second pair of pistons. Frustrating!
Going back to using a plastic tyre lever…
