Park Tool's PW-5 is the perfect beginner pedal wrench. It's got enough leverage to remove most pedals but is still compact enough to stuff into a small toolbox or bag.
The entire tool is made from heat-treated spring steel and is designed to securely engage the narrow 15 mm wrench flats found on bike pedals. There's also a simple vinyl dipped handle for comfort and 2 holes for hanging the wrench on your pegboard.
