Pedro's Chain Pig II

Pedro’s Chain Pig II is a professional grade chain cleaner capable of easily removing caked on grime from your bicycle chain without the need for intensive hand scrubbing.

Simply mount on your bike, fill up with 30 mL of your favorite degreaser and pedal away (*manually back pedaling by hand while stationary - please don't ride with a pig attached to your bike!).

It's worth noting the 30 mL volume - even if you just wanted to use a toothbrush to clean your chain, you're more than likely going to use more than 30 mL of degreaser in the process. Pedro's achieves this efficiency through it's high quality bristle brushes which pick up degreaser from a shallow bath in the bottom of the Pig before brushing it into your chain's links from every angle. As the chain exits the Pig, it passes through an absorbent sponge, which absorbs excess degreaser off your chain, filtering it through the sponge, with the clean degreaser returning back to the degreaser bath at the bottom of the pig.

Unlike some cheaper imitations on the market, Pedro's have manufactured the tool from some high quality chemical and impact-resistant plastic so you can be sure it's going to last. They have also used 100% stainless steel fittings which won't rust even when exposed to aggressive degreasers. This includes the drag-free derailleur hook which is compatible with far more derailleurs than cheaper models which hook over the entire pulley.

Will it work on my bike?

As long as you have a derailleur then YES!, Pedro's Chain Pig will work on your bike. It's compatible with all chains from single speed (1 gear) all the way through to 11, 12, and 13 speed. It's worth noting if you do have a single speed, that you will need a sprung chain tensioner as Pedro's chain pig requires some slack in the chain to work.
