Pedro's Pro Cassette Lockring Sockets are precision tools designed for the removal and installation of nearly all modern Cassette and internal-splined Disc Brake Lockrings.
- Alloy tool steel socket is fully machined to precise tolerances for an exacting professional-level fit and optimally heat treated for maximum strength and longevity.
- Available in two versions, 1 with and 1 without a unique modular center pin with a fixed steel 5 mm pin for QR hubs and a removable magnetic 12 mm pin.
- Features extra-long splines for superior engagement, quick-spin knurling, a 3/8" square drive for use with torque wrenches, a 24mm external drive for use with Pedro's Pro Socket Handle and pedal wrenches, and a 19.8mm internal diameter with 21.5mm depth.
- Fits all Shimano, SRAM, SunRace, SunTour, Chris King, and other HG standard cassette lock rings, disc brake lock rings, and other similar fittings with 12 splines and 23.5 mm outside diameter including some RockShox suspension fork top caps.
The Pro Cassette Lockring Socket begins as a solid piece of alloy tool steel, then is fully machined to precise tolerances for an exacting fit you won't find anywhere else, and finally is optimally heat treated for maximum strength and longevity. Designed with the professional mechanic in mind, Pedro's included both a 5 mm guide pin and a removable aluminum 12 mm pin held in place magnetically and easily removed with a satisfying precision-fit "pop". The extra-deep splines ensure superior engagement while the quick spin knurling provides speed and control. Use with a Torque Wrench for proper torque or use with Pro Socket Handle to remove those stubborn lockrings that require a little extra leverage.
