Another iconic tool from Pedro’s: the vise whip. Unlike other chain whip pliers, this tool clamps onto the cog and doesn’t require your hand strength to hold the plier jaws closed, reducing the possibilty of the pliers slipping to almost 0.
This is the second generation, with an entirely redesigned clamping surface that’s compatible with even more cassettes. Specifically: all 9-23 tooth standard cogs or multi-gear cassettes, not to mention e bike chainrings and all 40-46mm OD lockrings with opposing notches.
The updated design also features a scale on the adjustment knob for quick reference of the which cog size the tool is set to.
