Description

Threading each nipple onto the spokes is one of the most time consuming parts of building wheels.

Unior's Speed Nipple Bit are a simple solution to this product and attach to your electric drill or driver with a 1/4" Hex fitting to save time when spinning all the nipples on.

A protruding pin is machined into the tip of the speed nipple bit to ensure the nipple centered and prevents the tool from slipping off. Then, as the nipple is threaded down onto the spoke, this pin makes contact and unseats the driver. This ensures that all the nipples are threaded on to the spokes to the same depth, leaving you at the perfect starting point to tension up some great wheels.

Unior offer 2 different pin lengths - the best one for your wheel will simply depend on how much your spokes thread into your nipples. If your spokes are on the long-side you'd want the 1.5 mm so you can be closer to having the spokes under tension, however if they're on the shorter side you want the 2.5 mm so you don't put too much tension on them with your drill. We recommend purchasing both, but if you only want 1, the 2.5 mm is the best choice.

Compatible with conventional slot-head nipples.
